Quick Start is a workforce training program that assesses workers, trains new employees on unique processes, and develops customized job-specific training using the most current techniques and media. Quick Start provides job-specific training to add value, decrease waste and build teams.
Customized training is bases on the unique needs of the community. Customized training works to develop key supervisors and managers, upgrade employee skills, and enhance ability to serve customers. Any of the courses offered at GNTC can be customized.
Walker Launch is a career-based intership program that will provide students at both Lafayette and Ridgeland with a unique opportunity to earn associates degrees while receiving mentorship from an industry partner. Students will be on the GNTC campus each day with a WCS teacher to provide support.
